Mind Jacked: A Possible Reality

The Overview:
Mind Jacked is written by Rowan Edwen, also known as Silentknight859 or Silent on other platforms. Silent focuses on short stories that switch between Sci-fi and Fantasy. My favorite from his collection is the Sci-fi post-apocalyptic world, Mind Jacked. Mind Jacked is set in a world where the computer is your mind. With a special chip inserted at the base of your neck, you can go anywhere. This may seem fine and dandy, but as with all the great post-apocalyptic stories, the Government has to be involved. The chips are mandatory and ‘not regulated.’
Alex is a normal guy with a normal, partially sad life. He is then pulled into the world of the rebellion, leaving him to decide. Keep his life as it is or join something bigger?
My Thoughts:
I loved this book; it was short, sweet, and to the point. I loved the anticipation you feel throughout the whole audio story. Alex is very well developed. He’s just a normal guy wanting to live his normal life until he was pulled into the darker side of the Government.
Rowan does a great job of capturing the anticipation of Alex's decision and describing what the Government has done. It’s a great short sci-fi read that I recommend to anyone who just needs a quick reading fix.

Spoilers:
Alex… Not what he seems to be- so Alex works for the GOVERNMENT…. I didn’t see it coming. And now, when I reread the story, I see it from a whole new perspective.
Thank you so much! For reading my rantings and my random links. This is a definite 5/5 stars. I love how short it is and the twists and turns. I recommend this to all the busy people and those who love sci-fi. Which side would you choose? The rebels, the government, or just be complacent in everything?
Keep turning pages. Bard out!

Thank you so much for the glowing review! I'm really glad the twist caught you at the end. Keep up the great work!
